Angelina Jolie arrives for the world premiere of her fiance Brad Pitt's film World War Z in London June 2, 2013.

The film, which Jolie also wrote, outlines a love story between a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who were on opposite warring sides during the 1992 conflicts. The movie sparked controversy in Bosnia as a group of female war victims objected to the film's subject. Jolie says the film is art.

SOUNDBITE: Angelina Jolie, director, saying (English): "Its purpose is not to vilify but to try to understand. It is a study of the human condition, and as art, it will mean different things to different people. Everyone is free to draw their own conclusions. But whatever you take from this film, I hope that you'll be inspired to think further about this issues." "In The Land of Blood and Honey" is set for release in Japanese theaters on August 10.
