North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory on Monday conceded the state's contested gubernatorial race to Democratic challenger Roy Cooper, almost four weeks after the Nov. 8 election.
The Republican incumbent said in a video message that despite continued questions about the voting process, he believed the majority of the state's citizens had spoken.
